This new facility provides 63 private room nursing home beds and 31 spacious private assisted living suites. Resident rooms have been designed and are equipped for adequate nursing care and the comfort and privacy of the residents. The design of the facility also considers the changes that occur in the normal aging process including changes in visual acuity, mobility, hearing, and physical impairments. Special attention has been given to acoustics, lighting, color, and tactile stimulation. Room layouts are uniquely designed for optimum resident privacy, and are single-occupancy with a shared bath. Yet, staff can easily look-in on residents to assure their well being.
